Topics include an introduction of computer hardware and software (input/output devices and operating systems), basic problem-solving techniques and programming paradigms, fundamental numerical algorithms, fundamental non-numerical algorithms and the C++ computer language.
Prerequisite: Completion of MATH 166 with a C or better or consent of instructor.
