Children's Learning Center
Where it's Great to be a Kid!
Kaskaskia College's Children's Learning Center is a state licensed facility established to provide quality care to the children KC students, staff and community at large. Children 15 month-6 years of age during the fall and spring semesters and 15 months-12 years of age during the summer.
Kaskaskia College Children’s Learning Center has been designed for children’s intellectual, social, emotional, creative and physical growth and development. Meaningful play experiences and challenging learning opportunities encourage discovery, wonder and curiosity, as a theme-based curriculum provides activities that promote language, science, math, reading, physical, social and musical skills. These are related to children’s interests and create opportunity for problem-solving, critical thinking, and in-depth exploration of topics.
Nutritional meals, including breakfast, lunch and two afternoon snacks are available for children.
Enrollment is open to children in the community, as well as children of KC students, staff and faculty. Enrollment is granted without discrimination in regard to sex, race, creed, national origin or political beliefs.
Children DO NOT have to be potty trained.

Daily rate:
- Full -- $28
- Half -- $20
Funding assistance is available for qualifying low-income students.
