The Private Security Certificate focuses on multi-billion dollar-a-year businesses employing more than a million people. This specific certificate will introduce the students to better understand the background and current status of private security; the basic goals and responsibilities of security professionals; explore other important challenges to the profession; and pull together the basic concepts by describing how the pieces fit together in various applications including infrastructure, institutional, and commercial security.
