Business Learning Center

The Business Learning Center (BLC) is a computer lab supportive of the Office Technology Program. The Office Technologies department trains individuals to work in a variety of office and business settings from medical practices to real estate and insurance offices. One advantage of the BLC is the flexibility of course offerings such as document processing, transcription, and software applications. Students can have one on one interaction with certified instructors in the BLC at times convenient for them. The BLC caters to working professionals and those who are unable to attend structured coursework on a normal schedule by allowing them to earn college credit around their busy workday.

Spring 2026 Orientation Schedule

Students enrolled in the following courses must attend an orientation session in the Business Learning Center (BLC), Room L202. The schedule below is for courses starting the week of January 12, 2026.

If enrolled in a class which starts later in the semester, please contact the BLC at 545-3076 a week before the course start date to schedule an orientation.

It is mandatory that you attend an orientation session for BLC courses. When you come to orientation, please bring all textbooks (if applicable) and materials for the course.
