MATH-160 Precalculus 5-0-5
This course will emphasize the notion of a function as a unifying concept for the topics of college algebra and an extension of the topics of trigonometry. A graphing calculator is highly recommended. Prerequisite: Students must complete year of high school geometry with a grade of C or better or MATH 103 with a grade of C or better. Placement is satisfied with MATH 107 with a grade of C or better, ACT math score 24-36, or AAF ACCUPLACER score of 263 or above.
