MATH-134 College Algebra 3-0-3
This course will consider basic algebraic operations and expand their use to cover major topics of factoring; work with exponents; solving equations, including linear, quadratic and systems; graphing; and functions. Prerequisite: Students must have one year of high school geometry with a grade of C or better or MATH 103 with a grade of C or better. Placement is satisfied with MATH 107 with a grade of C or better, SAT Math score 550 or above, ACT math score 23-25 ACT math score 23-25, or AAF ACCUPLACER score of 250-262.
