What are your goals as a teacher at Kaskaskia College? My goals as a teacher at Kaskaskia College is to best equip students for a career in the imaging field. I plan to equip them not only with the knowledge needed to prepare for the national registry but also the patient care skills and work ethics that will allow them to succeed in the field.

How do you inspire your students to learn? I like to inspire students through many different venues. I like to cater to different learning styles by using multiple ways to disseminate the information to the students. I also use games and analogies to help the students retain the information in the classroom. Outside of the classroom I enjoy inspiring students through conferences that allow them to see others success in our field. We take students to two different conferences during their time at KC. Both conferences allow students to see the potential career paths in the radiology field. We have also brought in past graduates to come speak to the class on different opportunities in their local area.
