Title of Position:  Student Worker – Department and Salon Clerk

Department:  Cosmetology

Supervisor:  Professor of Cosmetology

Hours per week:  10 max

Employment Status:  Student Worker

Function:  The Cosmetology Department is looking for a student worker who is reliable and responsible. Applicant should be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds, complete tasks with minimal supervision and be willing to work in a fast-paced environment with limited distraction.

Position Description:  Specific responsibilities include general office duties, helping with inventory, restocking, organizing products, tools and equipment, helping create social media content and other duties relating to keeping the Cosmetology Program and salon organized and running efficiently.

• Willingness to show up to work on time ready to accomplish
• Faculty recommendation and current transcript
• Maintain a grade point average of 3.6
• Maintain confidentiality
• Background check required
• Keyboarding, filing, photocopies.

 Hourly rate is $14.00 per hour.
