Name of Position: Game Day Assistant

Location: Athletic Courts/Outdoor fields

-Function:  

 Athletic Event Worker will assist in game operations at campus sporting events, and perform other related duties as required. 

-Position Description:

The individual will serve at the scoreboard table for various athletic contests in volleyball, basketball, soccer, baseball and softball. Also other duties as assigned by the Athletic or game manager.

-Qualifications:

Must have excellent written and oral communication skills

Must be able to perform mathematical calculations and follow oral and written instructions

Should be knowledgeable and have the ability to successfully perform the duties assigned

Work well with the public and diverse community members

Must be able to work flexible hours, split shifts, evenings, and weekends

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:

-Will typically work at sporting events such as basketball, baseball, softball, soccer and volleyball that attract a number of students, faculty, staff and general public as paying and non-paying attendees

-Duties and responsibilities, as required by athletic department necessity, may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing. Scheduling, shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by athletic department necessity.

Wage is $14.00 per hour.
