This course is designed for the first year, pre-clinical phase of the Radiologic Technology Program. The interpersonal and professional responsibilities of the health care professional will be delineated. This is an orientation module to include medico-legal ethics, organizational structure, policies and procedures, basic radiation protection, infection control, and orientation to the clinical education centers. The patient is the primary concern of the radiographer. The radiographer must be appraised to clinical roles and responsibilities relative to individual patient care. Prerequisite: Admission to the Radiologic Technology Program
