This course is designed to introduce students to the techniques involved in production manufacturing, fixturing, and part design using CNC plasma cutters, press braking, collaborative robots, and drill pressing. Focus will be placed on production processes including the layout of metal for fabrication and techniques used to weld, form, and process the metal in an industrial setting. Applicable standards, fabrication techniques, and related welding topics will be covered.
