This course is a continuation of SPAN 203. Students will continue to deepen the functional skills in comprehending, speaking, reading, and writing Spanish and be provided an overview of Hispanic culture in various countries. Students will analyze short pieces of Hispanic literature and film, and will engage in a research project and an essay. This course is writing intensive and not designed for native speakers. Prerequisite: SPAN 203 with a C or better, in the last three years, or with approval of instructor or Academic Dean.
