This course is a study of electrotherapeutic agents used in physical therapy practice. It emphasizes the principles and procedures used in the application of various modalities including, but not limited to, inferential current, biofeedback, TENS, Russian simulation, diathermy, and iontophoresis. Clinical case scenarios are used to assist students in developing their critical thinking skills in the application of modalities. Prerequisite: Successful completion of first semester PTA courses or with approval of instructor or Academic Dean
