This second course in Calculus expands on the techniques of integration and applications. It is recommended that the full Calculus sequence is completed at the same institution since content and credits vary and there is no way to assure that content is not lost in transfer. Topics include (but are not limited to) the following: area, volume, other applications of the integral; techniques of integration, including numerical methods and integration by parts; improper integrals; sequences, series, convergence tests, and Taylor series; parametric equations; polar coordinates and equations. Prerequisite: Completion of MATH 166 with a grade of C or better.
