This course is designed to give students an overview of the licensing standards and licensing process for daycare homes, daycare group homes, and daycare centers, specific to the state of Illinois. Students will examine the differences between the types of care, including the number of children allowed, caregiver qualifications, and space requirements. At the end of the course, students will determine which type of care they are most likely to pursue and be prepared to complete the application for licensure.
