Kaskaskia College Foundation Awards More Than $407,000 in Scholarships to 271 Students

Centralia, IL- The Kaskaskia College Foundation recently hosted its annual Scholarship Celebration, recognizing both the generous donors who support student scholarships and the Kaskaskia College students whose academic journeys are made possible through that support.

For the 20252026 academic year, the Kaskaskia College Foundation awarded more than $407,000 in scholarship assistance to 271 KC students, representing an increase of $39,000 over the previous year.

The Scholarship Celebration brings together scholarship donors and recipients for an afternoon of connection and appreciation. During the event, students have the opportunity to share their personal and professional goals, while donors learn more about the impact their support has on students' educational journeys.

The Kaskaskia College Foundation anticipates awarding more than $400,000 in scholarships for the 20262027 academic year. Current and prospective KC students are encouraged to apply for scholarships through August of this year.
