“Computer Basics Part 2” class to be offered at Kaskaskia College Salem Education Center

The Kaskaskia College Department of Industrial and Continuing Education will offer a “Computer Basics Part 2” class at the Salem Education Center.  The class will be Monday and Tuesday, October 12 and 13, 2020 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and the registration number is COED-7021-SA01D.

This hands-on computer course gives computer users the opportunity to build on the learning experience from Computer Basics Part 1. Students will learn additional components and parts of a computer. Computer terms as well as how to create, print, and save documents, and personalize the desktop will be discussed. Students will become more familiar with MS Windows applications. Additional internet topics will be presented and discussed.  Cost for this course is $20.00. 

Please note Kaskaskia College will continue to enforce social distancing and safety guidelines established by the Illinois Community College Board and the state’s Restore Illinois program through the fall semester.  This includes wearing a mask indoors, proper hand sanitizing, and visitors completing the College’s prescreening tool available on the KC Connect Mobile App or at www.kaskaskia.edu.  These and other measures have been put into place to ensure the health and well-being of everyone who visits the College.
