What are your goals as a teacher at Kaskaskia College? - I want my students to have a strong foundation in the roles and expectations of teachers. I want them to feel confident and excited about entering the teaching profession, and to feel prepared for the next steps in their educational career.

What did you do before you began teaching at Kaskaskia College?- Before working at Kaskaskia College, I taught and coached at the high school level. I then worked in administration at Greenville College. At Greenville College I worked to develop and run two different graduate degrees in education. This included curriculum development, aligning curriculum to state standards, student advisement, marketing and recruiting for the program. I also had the privileged of serving on the IACTE government relations board, helping articulate the concerns of teacher education programs to state and national legislatures.
