Functions

Assist teacher in carrying out daily activities.

Organizational Relationship

Reports to the Director of Child Care Center.

Qualifications for the Position

Required

High School Diploma

Background and Fingerprint check

Physical on file

Necessary forms required by Illinois Department of Children and Family Services

Preferred

Experience in childcare or related field

Essential Functions

To assist the teacher in carrying out daily activities.

To assist the teacher in cleanup activities.

To assist the teacher in providing a safe, orderly environment for the children.

To always, communicate positively with the children and parents.

To direct parents questions and concerns to the teacher and/or director.

To attend regular staff meetings and complete the training hours required by the state.

To perform other jobs and responsibilities as needed.

Wage is $14.00 per hour.
