Provides direct student services in the admissions process, enrollment, and registration functions, along with all related Enrollment Center Support functions.
Reports to the Dean of Enrollment Services who reports to the Vice-President of Student Services, who reports to the President of the College.
Qualifications for the Position
Two years of relevant work experience.
Excellent customer service and written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational, human relations, and teamwork skills.
Excellent computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet, and database, including Microsoft
Word and Excel.
Demonstrated commitment to supporting and participating in student activities and College events.
Previous experience working in an educational environment.
Previous experience working with a customer relationship management product.
Provide excellent customer service to all students and internal customers.
Provide customer services and enrollment services for the Enrollment Center.
Explain various enrollment processes and procedures to students and parents on walk-in and call-in basis.
Proactive follow-up with prospective students to encourage next step in enrollment process.
Assist students in the application and admission processes.
Maintain student files.
Assist in monitoring student data for completeness and accuracy which is critical to state reports.
Assist in the preparation of required reports and correspondence.
Answer telephone, expedite mail, respond to requests, and/or forward messages as required.
Process student withdrawals and transcript requests.
Register students on campus and at remote sites.
Interpret and process essential forms for the Enrollment Center.
Work with Special Admit programs as required.
Support the dual credit registration process.
Provide support for Kaskaskia College-related outreach as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned
The position will assist in supervising student workers as needed.
The position will be expected to work as part of the Enrollment Center team with a
minimum amount of supervision. Consultation with the supervisor is available as needed.
The position is expected to follow all Kaskaskia College policies and procedures, and

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
High-traffic, office environment with frequent interruptions. Must be willing and able to travel to training sites as necessary. Flexible schedule is required, including evening and weekend work as necessary.

The following information is based on the current employee fringe benefits that Kaskaskia College offers. It is not intended to be a contractual agreement and in no way limits Kaskaskia College from altering such benefits in the future.
VACATION LEAVE 12 days per year for first fiscal year. Thereafter, employee receives 12 days plus one additional vacation day for each year of completed service up to a maximum of 22 days per fiscal year. Leave is accrued at the rate of 1 day per month.
SICK LEAVE 12 days per fiscal year
PERSONAL LEAVE 3 days per fiscal year
PAID HOLIDAYS Consistent with Collective Bargaining Agreement
HEALTH INSURANCE is effective the first day of the month after hire date and includes comprehensive medical, vision and dental coverage.
Rates as of 9/1/23:
$215.00 per month employee only coverage
$354.00 per month employee + 1 dependent
$446.00 per month employee+2 or more dependents
Provider is Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Illinois.
LIFE INSURANCE is provided by the College and is effective the first day of the month after hire date. The benefit amount is equal to annual salary. Additional voluntary insurance is available at employees expense.
FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNT and 403(b) PLANS are also available.
The State Universities Retirement System requires that 8% of an employees monthly gross pay is deducted for individual retirement purposes.
It is also required that .75% of an employees monthly gross pay be deducted to fund the College Insurance Plan for Community College Retirees.
