The Landscape and Turfgrass Operations Certificate will prepare students with a basic skill and knowledge set necessary for entry-level positions in horticulture. Students will be trained in basics of landscape design, turfgrass operation, plant identification, plant care, urban arboriculture and plant propagation.


What You Can Do

Upon successful completion of this certificate students will be prepared for employment in the following fields:

  • Turfgrass operators
  • Landscape designers
  • Propagation assistants
  • Landscape maintenance technicians
