EMT- internship provides students with opportunities to apply theory to practice in the clinical and pre-hospital setting, under the supervision of registered nurses and licensed paramedics. Students will benefit from the willingness of preceptors to provide the best possible learning experiences. This course provides students the opportunity to function as part of the emergency medical team under direct supervision, on an advanced life support ambulance. Students will be required to perform all aspects of emergency pre-hospital care up to the level of the EMT-Basic in a variety of actual situations. Prerequisite: Concurrent enrollment in PARM 110
