To gain competence in the practical application of early childhood education principles and theories in a supervised setting while providing care and education of young children. The student will be supervised by a qualified professional and a college instructor. This course requires 145 hours of field experiences of preschool-aged children in early childhood settings, in a practicum placement. Prerequisite: ECES 111 and approval of instructor or Academic Dean
