This course provides students the opportunity to experience drafting related occupations. Students will work in an office or job site to experience applications and development of documentation drawings. Emphasizes is placed on experiencing drafting duties, developing awareness of continuing education requirements, enhancing drafting skills, coordinating classroom assignments to the work environment and exploring employment opportunities. Many students search for their own placements; however, the Architectural & Engineering Design Technology Coordinator must give approval. Students will complete activities to create not only good technical skills but also practice soft skills and work ethics throughout the entirety of the course. Prerequisite: Sophomore status or approval
