Course will provide students with comprehensive knowledge of Critical Security Controls (CIS) and NIST SP 800-53 security and privacy controls requirements. Students will learn how to apply frameworks to existing databases in order to identify potential threats, risks, and make recommended mitigation controls. Students will learn how to manage and monitor access rights, roles, job functions, and methodology used to develop compliant data control systems. Learners will gain the ability to report controls at service organizational levels directly relevant to security from a System and Organization Controls (SOC II) compliance level.
