The specific needs of infants and toddlers in various child care settings will be examined and observed with current research being considered. Students will have the opportunity to develop skills in managing a safe environment while providing stimulating activities at appropriate levels. This course includes field experiences and field observations of young children, birth to 3 years, in early childhood settings.
