This course is designed for the first year CT student. An introduction to the principles and concepts of CT physics with emphasis on operating components, image processing, image display, informatics, image quality, and artifact recognition and reduction. Prerequisite: All computed tomography students must have graduated from a two-year, allied health program and show proof of certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
