High School Equivalency (GED) Class Registration

To sign up for the High School Equivalency(GED) Online Registration click here.

The Kaskaskia College Adult Education & Literacy Department requires all GED students to attend a mandatory orientation before they enter class. During the orientation, students will fill out intake paperwork and do placement testing. Completion of the orientation is a requirement before entering class.

To register for an orientation, you can click below to register online, or you can call or text us at 618-545-3115.

Students must be 16 years of age or older. If you are 16, you will need a drop form/letter of withdrawal from the high school you would be attending based on your current address. The letter must state your name, date of birth, last day of attendance, and be signed by an administrator. Even if you have not attended the high school based on your current address, they can still provide you this letter, which will state you are not currently attending that high school. However all students must be 17 to take the High School Equivalency(GED) test.

Classes meet twice a week, and you are expected to attend every class session. Classes run continually throughout the year, with specific orientation and entry dates. Kaskaskia College GED classes are FREE of charge.
