Community CPR/AED Training to be held at KC Crisp Technology Center

The Kaskaskia College Department of Industrial and Continuing Education will offer a “Community CPR/AED Training” at the Crisp Technology Center on Thursday, December 5 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.  The registration number is COED 8041 CR01E.

This hands-on training from the American Heart Association teaches how to perform CPR on adults, children and infants.  Participants will also learn to use various AED devices, commonly found in public buildings such as offices, schools, recreation facilities and shopping centers. The goal of this class is to empower participants to save the life of a friend, family member or stranger. Participants do not receive a formal CPR certification. Formal certification is available for at an extra cost.  Cost for the training is $30.00.
