Six Saturday, January 17, 7:30 p.m. “Six” are six real life brothers who will close out the season with their high-energy, a cappella singing. Performing everything from doo wop, blues, Motown and soft rock, Six (also known as the Knudsen Brothers) showcases amazing vocals and percussion sounds. Siegel-Schwall Blues Band Friday, February 6, 7:30 p.m. Beat the winter doldrums and enjoy a great night of blues music. A key member of the “Blues Revival of the Late 1960’s”, the Siegel-Schwall Blues Band earned their spurs backing greats like Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Little Walter and Willie Dixon. Current band members include: Corky Siegel, harmonica and piano; Jim Schwall, guitar and mandolin; Sam Lay, drums; and Rollo Radford, bass. Join the celebration as a Smithsonian Institution speaker looks at the past, present and future of space exploration. How far have we come? What are the challenges that lie ahead? When will humans colonize the moon and land on Mars? What are the implications of long term space travel? It’s a fascinating look at the human need for exploration and at the adventures that await us in space.
