Returning to Learn Scholarship Award Information
The American Association of University Women, Centralia Branch, will be awarding a scholarship to a “Returning to Learn” student who has a minimum of a two-year break in their education. The applicant (male or female) must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a graduate or undergraduate program at least half-time and must reside in the Centralia area. Criteria used to select the winner include academic achievement, financial need, field of study or degree sought, community service/extra curricular activities, and personal expression. The $500 scholarship will be awarded on Saturday, March 9, 2013.

Completed applications must be received by Monday, February 25, 2013 and will be reviewed by the scholarship committee so that the scholarship recipient can be notified by March 1, 2013. The scholarship recipient must be available to attend the AAUW Spring Luncheon being held at 11 a. m. at the Elks Club in Centralia on Saturday, March 9, 2013 to participate in a brief scholarship presentation ceremony.
· Applicant (male or female) must be a re-entry student with a minimum two year break in attendance.
· Applicant must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a graduate or undergraduate degree or certificate program at least half-time.
· Applicant must reside in the KC District.
SCHOLARSHIP AWARD AMOUNT: $500.00
