About the Program
Launched in 1997, the Cisco Networking Program utilizes a blended learning model, integrating
face-to-face teaching, a web-based curriculum, Student in Cisco lab hands-on lab activities and
Internet-based assessment. Kaskaskia College is now offering the Cisco Certified Networking Associate
(CCNA) program. Students who successfully complete the curriculum are well trained for the Cisco Certified
Network Associate certification exam.
The Cisco Network Associate program consists of a variety of networking topics - from basic cabling and
simple network setup to more advanced IP addressing schemes and routing protocols. Students will receive
hands-on training with network equipment, including the programming and setup of routers and
Kaskaskia College CCNA students may access the online curriculum content for coursework.
The Kaskaskia College Cisco Networking Laboratory is a newly renovated state-of-the-art facility where
students will have the opportunity to experience hands-on learning.
