About Us
The Trenton Education Center offers courses that meet certificate and degree
requirements for associate of arts and associate of sciences. We offer diverse courses
at flexible times to meet the needs of all students. The Trenton Center provides
compass testing, online testing, academic advisement, and assistance with financial aid.
The Trenton Education Center is equipped with a state of the art computer lab that is
open to the public. The center offers GED classes, tutoring, community education
courses, business and industry training and seminars.
There are several initiatives being planned to expand services at the Trenton Education
Center. Kaskaskia College is committed to providing excellent, comprehensive education
services to its district residents.

Students have a variety of learning platforms to choose from. The College offers traditional
classroom classes, online classes, distance learning classes (live television from site to
site or multiple sites) and hybrid classes (classes that are part traditional classroom
with an online component). The Center also offers Community education classes which provide
credit as well as non-credit classes. Some examples are Computer Understanding classes;
these are very basic classes for the novice computer user; floral arranging, water color
painting, charcoal drawing, photography and many more.
The Kaskaskia College Trenton Education Center staff is dedicated to serving our students
to ensure their academic success. It has been noted that life-long learning is imperative
to one’s personal health and intellectual growth. It is part of the Kaskaskia College
mission to provide such learning opportunities and experiences for our students.
