Job Responsibilities:
Installs, initiates operation, maintains, inspects, tests, trouble-shoots and repairs equipment at customer sites to ensure the safe, effective and efficient delivery of Air Liquide products to the customer's point of use and serves as a key point of contact and coordination between the company and the customer to meet all requirements safely, efficiently and economically

The Field Service discipline within the technical function has a technician performing in the above capacities specifically for applicable Air Liquide equipment including oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, helium and carbon dioxide liquid and gas storage systems; customer distribution/regulation systems; applications equipment; telemetry equipment; instrumentation; and FLOXAL systems including air compressors and various small on-site nitrogen generation systems. The incumbent reports to the local Field Service Coordinator. The field service technician (FST) coordinates their activities with outside service providers, customer service engineering, sales and distribution on installations and removals. All work must be performed in conformance with established safety procedures while ensuring customer satisfaction with the appearance and operation of every installation.

General Requirements:
•Must have ability to apply all elements of the "Mastering" stage plus:
•Technical competence testing certification - highest score
•Ability to install and remove customer installations; heavy experience with HVAC is preferred
•Can train customer in general operation and safety requirements of system
•Able to lead, train and mentor in all critical skill areas of the "Mastering" profile
•May be required to spend a great deal of time on his/her feet, climbing, stooping, turning, lifting up to 50 lbs and/or occasionally working in inclement weather
•Must be able to travel with approximately 15% being overnight
•This position requires the individual to be on call 24/7
•Leads and influences by example
•High School Diploma or GED Required
