“Evening Operations Manager”

NOTS is a progressive family owned and operated transportation company which provides Less-Truck-Load services to our customers throughout the mid-west region for more than 30 years.     

This position is responsible for maintaining all company operations during the evening hours.  Currently, our company operates 8 terminal locations, and is aggressively adding new locations.

  The candidate will provide general supervision of all transportation drivers, administrative staff, and dock employees.  This position involves the planning, directing, and coordination of all line-haul activities. This candidate will ensure that all loads move smoothly, accurately, and efficiently.  Provide input for cost savings, and maintain efficient utilization of manpower through proper scheduling and training.

Qualifications will include:

·         Good communication skills written & verbal

·         Multi-Tasker

·         Class A CDL preferred but not required.

·         Dock and transportation experience required

·         Organizational skills

·         Computer Skills

·         Navigation Skills

·         Managerial Skills
