Campus Security
The Safety and Security Department is dedicated to provide a safe and secure learning environment for Kaskaskia
College students, employees and visitors. Kaskaskia College has an "In House" Safety and Security Department
consisting of part-time officers and a full-time director. The campus security course of action is to observe and
report violations of State, Federal, County, and Institutional laws, regulations and ordinances. The main campus is
also patrolled periodically by the Clinton County Sheriff's Department and the Illinois State Police. The main desk
is located at the front entrance of the HB Building.
How to Report Crimes and Emergencies
On campus
Individuals may report a crime or other emergency to the Safety and Security Department (x 3199), the Welcome Center
or to any employee.
Off campus
A crime which occurs off campus should be reported to the police department having legal jurisdiction for that
