Meet the LIBT Instructors

Jeff Spinks has been working in libraries for over 32 years. In addition, he has been teaching adults for over 15 years. He holds a B.A., M.A., and is currently working on an ED.D. in Reading and Literacy Leadership. In addition to an interest in library science and teaching, Mr. Spinks has focused his research interests on adult reading skills, study skills, and the interaction of humans and computers in information science. The idea of bringing people and ideas together is what is very motivating for me as an instructor. Watching the interests levels of students rise over the years has been very rewarding. Students may contact Mr. Spinks at jspinks@kaskaskia.edu  Mr. Spinks teaches LIBT 210 Workplace & Supervisory Skills (Spring).
