Adult Education Our classes are offered at locations throughout Marion, Clinton, Washington,
Bond, and Fayette Counties.
University Alliance The University Alliance will allow residents to complete degrees beyond the Associate Degree from accredited institutions, in both traditional and non-traditional instructional formats. Innovation in establishing learning communities is the goal of this alliance. Lifelong Learning Kaskaskia College is proud to serve the lifelong learning needs of our
district. Community outreach programs are offered throughout the Kaskaskia
College District in both credit and non-credit areas.
Education/Extension Centers Kaskaskia College is extending itself throughout District 501 to provide educational
opportunities for all the residents of our district. By cooperating with local
school districts, we have created opportunities for you as a lifelong learner. The addition of our Greenville, Nashville,
Salem,
Trenton and Vandalia Centers makes it possible for those unable to attend during
the day on campus to continue their education towards a degree.
The Reading Link The Reading Link is Kaskaskia College's Adult Literacy Program that places
volunteer tutors with adult students who need to learn to read, do basic math,
learn English as a Second Language, or need to get a GED.
G.E.D. Kaskaskia College’s Adult Education Program helps adults, 16 years old
and over, who need assistance in acquiring skills and knowledge to pass the
GED examination for a high school equivalency diploma. Classes will help
students review all subject areas covered on the official GED Test and
the U.S. & Illinois Constitution.
