Basic Construction Mathematics (CSTR-106)

Description: This course is for construction students seeking a certificate instead of a degree. This course covers basic arithmetic computations needed to be successful in the building trades. Basic construction math uses a step-by-step approach, beginning with the most basic arithmetic. Course covers whole numbers, fraction, decimals, percent, surface area, volume, weight and board feet measure, exponents, and square roots where they apply to construction operations.
