Keyboarding I (OFTC-110)

Description: This beginning course may be taken as personal or business keyboarding. The major objectives are to develop touch control of the keyboard and proper keyboarding techniques, build basic speed and accuracy skills, and provide practice in applying those basic skills to the production of letters, tables, reports, memorandums, forms, and other kinds of personal and business correspondence. Students with one year high school typewriting should enroll in OFTC 111 or take a proficiency examination. Individualized instruction in the Business Learning Center. Open-entry open-exit class.
