Description: Basic elements of mathematics for students majoring in elementary education. Includes origin of numerals, sets, relations, systems of numeration, natural numbers, integers, rational numbers and real numbers. Prerequisite: Completion of 2 years of high school algebra with a grade of C or better, or MATH 107 and one year of high school geometry with a grade of C or better or MATH 103 with a grade of C or better. SAT Math score 550 or above, ACT math score 23-25, COMPASS math score Algebra domain 66-99, COMPASS math score College Algebra domain 0-45, KC Placement math score College Algebra Domain 75-100. PARCC math score 4-5.
