The Auto Collision Program at Kaskaskia College is designed to provide the
student with a working knowledge of all phases of repair and maintenance of a
vehicle’s interior, exterior, and underbody structure. The program offers
training in sheet metal repair, MIG welding, various types of painting
procedures, interior/exterior trim, and glass repair. In addition, the student
learns how to analyze damage and determine replacement parts on a vehicle. Lab
classes give the student an opportunity to practice what has been learned on
actual vehicles in a shop environment.
