| All students must submit either ACT scores or COMPASS® Test scores prior to being eligible to enroll in an English or math course. Kaskaskia College accepts the ACT scores taken as part of the Prairie State Tests. Any new student who has not taken the ACT and who plans to enroll will be required to take the COMPASS® test prior to enrolling in English
Composition 101 or any math course. The COMPASS® test and/or the ACT are also required for students seeking admission to special admission programs. There is no fee for the COMPASS® test, and tests are administered on the main campus as well as the Education Centers throughout the district.
COMPASS® testing will be conducted on a walk-in basis in the Success Center, located just outside of the Library L-109.
To ensure you have enough time to complete your compass testing, please arrive no later than the following; Monday by 6:00pm, Tuesday through Thursday by 3:00pm, and Firday by 2:00pm.
