Bill Hawley
is a former teacher and coach at Salem Community High
School. Bill is currently serving as Chairman of the Board. He is currently the manager of Wilson and Wilson Monument
Company of Odin. He is a graduate of Odin High School and
SIU-Carbondale. Bill has been the sports broadcaster for WJBD
radio in Salem since 1971. Bill has the distinction of being
a member of the SCHS Hall of Fame, Kaskaskia College Hall of Fame,
and the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Bill
is also a member of the SCHS Hall of Fame Committee. Bill
currently serves as the College's representative to
the Kaskaskia College Foundation. Bill
Hawley resides in Odin.

Beasley
|
Jim is a native of Centralia and a retired superintendent of
schools. He has served on the Board of Trustees since 1991. Jim is currently serving as Vice Chairman of the Board.
He has represented the KC Board as a representative for the Illinois
Community College Trustees Association, including serving
as the Association's Treasurer. He and his wife, Joyce, reside in Centralia.

Bob began his career as a Kaskaskia College Board Trustee
in 1997.
He has been in the restaurant business over 40 years
and currently operates the Circle B Steakhouse and Lu-Bob's family
restaurant in Greenville. Bob resides in Carlyle with his
wife, Debby. His family consists of six children: Tricia,
Rob, Tim, Danielle, Lucas, and Catherine.

Fogleman

A native of Centralia, Louis Fogleman takes great pride
in being a Kaskaskia College graduate. Before
his retirement, he specialized in labor relationships. The
board has experienced more meaningful negotiations with various
employee groups because of Louis' skills and leadership within this
vital area. Louis and his wife, Judy, enjoy working and relaxing
at their hobby farm in rural Centralia.

Bob Gaffner is a resident of Greenville and is currently Chairman of the
Board and CEO of Be There Media Concepts, a Division of R. H. Gaffner and Associates, Inc.
He retired from the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Internal Revenue Service, as a
Senior Tax Specialist in 2006, having served 15-years in a variety of assignments.
In 1991, he retired from the St. Louis Community College System after 25-years of
administrative service including Vice-Chancellor for Community and Legislative Affairs and
Executive Director of the College Foundation. He was first elected as a Kaskaskia
College Trustee in 1975. During his board tenure, he has held officer positions of
Secretary, Vice-Chairman and Chairman. He has also served as Secretary, Treasurer,
Vice-President and President of the Illinois Community College Trustees Association (ICCTA).
Bob is a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving with the United States Air Force
from 1951 to 1954. He is an Elder at the First Presbyterian Church in Greenville.
Bob’s philosophy for life helps keep everything in perspective: “Life is hard by the
yard but a cinch by the inch.”

 Brian T. Courtney
|
Brian T. Courtney of Centralia
is a retired Science Department Instructor at Centralia
High School. Brian is currently serving as Secretary of the Board. Brian took his first class at KC in 1973
and graduated with an Associate in Arts and Science
Degree in Radiologic Technology in 2004. Brian has also
been a part-time instructor at KC's Vandalia Education
Center. Brian says he loves the institution as a student
and a faculty member saying it has given him an awful
lot and he's happy to contribute something back as a
member of the Board of Trustees.

Linda is a life long resident of Centralia,
except for 4 years in Carbondale and 3 in Olney. Linda graduated from Kaskaskia College
with 2 Associate Degrees and one Certificate. Linda also graduated from Olney Central College
with an Associate Degree. Linda returned to school as a non-traditional student after her two
boys were at an age that she felt comfortable doing so. Linda commuted from Centralia to
Eastern Illinois University for her Bachelor Degree and she commuted to Carbondale for her
Masters Degree. Linda is married to Danny L. Stover. He was employed at Kaskaskia College
for 29 years before retiring in 2006. Linda is the Director of Stover and Associates, P.C.
in Centralia. She also cummutes to her satelite offices in Carbondale, Mt. Vernon, and Marion. Linda, Danny, and their two sons Brennan, and Dannon all graduated from Kaskaskia College.

 Trent Gherardini

Trent Gherardini is a 2007 graduate of Carlyle High School. In high school he was a
member of the baseball and football programs, Student Council, Spanish Club, and Band. Trent will be a sophomore in the 2008-2009 school
year at Kaskaskia College. He is involved in Academic Leaders, Core Values, Roteract, Student Activity Board, and Student Congress. Trent
resides in Shattuc with his parents, Mike and Karen Gherardini. In his free time, Trent enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling, and being with
his friends.
