The Animal Science Certificate prepares students with a basic skill and knowledge set necessary for entry-level positions in agriculture. This certificate will prepare students for positions such as herdsmen, laboratory technicians, and veterinary assistants. Students will focus on management, animal nutrition, animal health, animal handling and stewardship, animal facilities design and function, and waste management.
