Nursing

Welcome to the Kaskaskia College Nursing Program, and thank you for considering KC in pursuit of your career goals. Nurses are the backbone of our healthcare system. They are caregivers, teachers, researchers, counselors, encouragers, and so much more. KC's Nursing Program will prepare you for this engaging, rewarding, and high-demand career.

KC's Nursing Program has a strong history of graduating successful nurses. With a dedicated and experienced faculty, a state-of-the-art Nursing Education Center, simulation labs, and convenient clinical sites, students attending Kaskaskia College can earn their degrees and become practicing nurses in as little as one or two years. Whether your interest is working at hospitals, home health, seeking an advanced degree, or serving as a healthcare organization's CEO, nursing is an option for you, and Kaskaskia College can help you get there.

In order to be successful in the Certified Nurse Assistant, Practical Nursing, or Associate Degree in Nursing program, it is critical for students to have access to a computer and quality internet (Chromebooks and iPads are not preferred).  If students do not have personal access to a computer and internet, it will be the student’s responsibility to make arrangements with the ACE center on the main campus or an extension center in order to complete coursework.
