Did you know? Whitney is well known at Kaskaskia College as she was the first to obtain her associates degree while still in high school. She graduated from KC in 2007 with a 4.0 GPA and was the youngest student admitted into the Illinois Bar in 2012 at the age of 23.
Whitney was inspired to serve on the Foundation Board because she enjoys hearing the success stories of students and graduates who wouldn’t have been able to attend KC if it weren’t for the help of Foundation scholarships.
We asked Whitney this question...
“If you could have lunch with anyone living or deceased, who would it be and why?”
Her answer was... “My great aunt, Alice Swagler. She was an incredible educator and one of the kindest people I have ever known. She has inspired me in so many ways and I miss her dearly.”
