Kaskaskia College and Greenville University signed seven new articulation agreements that will ease KC graduates' transfer process to continue their GU education. Students complete the first two years of their bachelor's degree at KC through this partnership and then transfer to GU for degree completion. The positive impacts are significant to graduates’ time, money, and effort.
The agreements include several programs: chemistry, environmental biology, exercise science, marketing, Spanish, and sport management.
“The GU-Kaskaskia relationship, which has a long history, fits well our institution’s commitment to connection and collaboration,” said Dr. Brian Hartley, Chief Academic Officer and Dean of Faculty at GU. “Greenville’s mission for character and service remains particularly relevant both locally and regionally, and expanding opportunities for students to move easily from community college into our faith-based approach brings mutual benefits to both institutions.”
The programs of study are as follows:
Associate in Science - Chemistry → Bachelor of Science - Chemistry
Associate in Science - Environmental Biology → Bachelor of Science - Environmental Biology
Associate in Arts - Exercise Science → Bachelor of Science - Exercise Science
Associate in Science - Exercise Science → Bachelor of Science - Exercise Science (PT/AT Emphasis)
Associate in Arts - Marketing → Bachelor of Science - Marketing
Associate in Arts - Spanish → Bachelor of Arts - Spanish
Associate in Arts - Sport Management → Bachelor of Science - Sport Management
With these agreements, Kaskaskia College has almost 200 signed articulations agreements with four-year colleges and institutions. Kaskaskia College is committed to providing students with access to more affordable educational opportunities.
