“Glue Gun Art” class to Be Held at Vandalia Campus

The Kaskaskia College Department of Industrial and Continuing Education will hold a “Glue Gun Art” class at the Vandalia Campus.  This class will be Monday, March 23 and 30, 2020 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. The registration number is COED-5109-VA02E.

Students will learn to create acrylic works of art using a glue gun.  Two paintings will be made using gesso to prep the glue and watered acrylics to antique the paintings. The first night will be adding the glue and gesso, and base acrylic to the canvas boards.  The second night will add the antiquing and any additional colors you may want to use. No painting experience is necessary. Cost for this class is $15.00, and students will pay an $8.00 fee directly to the instructor for supplies.
