Kaskaskia College is seeking public input as it plans for the future direction of its education centers in Salem, Nashville, Greenville, Trenton and Vandalia. Residents are being asked to visit survey site www.surveymonkey.com/r/kcedcenters to answer questions about the programs and services offered at the centers. Kaskaskia’s Regional Director of Education Centers, Cheryl Boehne, says as the College begins to develop its plans and directions for each center, input from community members is critical. “From college classes, community education classes to children’s programs through our Kids in College at Kaskaskia (KICK), the centers provide a number of opportunities for personal and professional enrichment,” said Boehne. “In looking to the future we want to make sure we are continuing to provide those enrichment opportunities as well as making sure the centers are operating at times convenient for our residents.”
Questions on the survey seek input on the types of classes offered, both credit and non-credit, as well as community education classes for adults, and KICK classes for children. The survey also asks about the centers’ hours of operation.
The survey, which will only take a few minutes to complete, is also accessible on the College’s main webpage at kaskaskia.edu. Participants can also enter into a drawing to win one of five $100 Amazon gift cards. The drawing will take place on October 31. Anyone wanting more details about the survey, or to learn more about what Kaskaskia College offers at its education centers please contact Boehne at 618-545-3486.
